Five of The Most Iconic Photo Locations in the World
It seems like we are just a few months away from getting back to normal life. With vaccines popping up left and right, there is a good chance that after the summer of 2021, or at the very least, close to wintertime in 2021, we’ll be finally able to travel again.
Technically speaking, we can still travel, but it’s just not the same. That said, it is a good idea to start planning ahead, especially if you’re a photographer who is just aching to get back out there and capture some amazing pictures.
Well, here are 5 of the most beautiful places to take pictures in after Covid-19 has passed.
1. Japan during cherry blossom season
Japan is one of the most beautiful places on this planet. They are famous for countless nature-related things, but when it comes to cherry blossoms, they truly take the cake. During springtime, literally, all over Japan, cherry blossoms just seem to take over.
The colors, the backdrop make it an incredible place to shoot wedding pictures or just taking your everyday snapshots. So next time you get a chance to go to Japan, make sure you do it in the springtime and have an awesome camera with you as well. Some savings wouldn’t hurt either, as Japan can be pricey in some cases.
We could recommend some specific cities, but cherry blossoms are all over Japan, and each city has its own designated famous spots. Just ask the locals when you get there.
2. British Columbia, Canada
Most people know that Canada is considered one of the most scenic places on the planet. You can go to the north to enjoy the northern lights and the arctic tundra. On the east coast, you got the prairies and beautiful large lakes. Then on the west coast, you have a province that goes by the name BC or British Columbia. You see, there is a reason why it’s referred to as beautiful British Columbia. In fact, you’d see that even written on their official driving license plates.
BC is home to one of the vastest natural and scenic areas in the country. Perhaps even in North America or the world. Whether you are looking to hike around massive large, lush, and green massive forests or trekking along the tall snow-capped mountains in the wintertime, the natural beauty of BC is just absolutely stunning. Kelowna, Banff, Hope, and the list of cities that offer beautiful backdrops literally goes on. If you are looking for natural settings to take your pictures in, BC just can’t be beaten.
In addition, with the local government playing a key role in preserving the wildlife along with their habitats, it has created a phenomenal opportunity for people and local animal life to co-exist. You can find some incredible backdrops and backgrounds for your pictures there, and that fresh air is simply delicious. Something you’d feel as soon as you land in this province.
3. Maui, Hawaii
Okay, we all know Hawaii is awesome, and we would love to be there right now. However, there is one specific island that is perfect for model shoots or if you are looking to shoot in natural and relaxed settings. This island is known as Maui, and it’s the second most popular island in Hawaii.
After going to the island of Honolulu a few times, when the same people really want to enjoy the ‘real’ Hawaii, they go to Maui. Maui is surrounded by natural beaches and very green settings. If you are looking for that ‘beach’ vibe, or that’s what your photography session calls for, Maui should be right at the top of the list. Great beaches, amazingly fresh air, and just overall great vibes. If you need natural sunlight in your pictures, this is the place to be.
4. Seljalandsfoss, Iceland
If you are looking for that sexy setting where a model is posing under a waterfall, you might want to take a little trip to Seljalandsfoss in Iceland. Iceland overall is breathtaking, but these collections of falls are on a completely different level. Considered by many as one of the most beautiful waterfalls on the planet,
If you and your models really want to make a major impact, try doing a photo shoot here. Your audience won’t forget it, especially if you are taking shots just around the sunset. These views are simply spectacular. Seljalandsfoss is actually the name of the river, and that is what fuels these gigantic 200-meter tall waterfalls.
5. The Great Barrier Reef
Continuing the tropical theme here, the great barrier reef is synonymous with natural beauty and photographers alike. Whenever you see a model showcasing any type of bikini, most likely, that image was shot here. It’s literally designed for photographers who want to promote an active beach lifestyle or something of that nature.
Another reason photographers love the great barrier reef is because of the underwater wildlife. Here you will find one of the most beautiful and unique underwater creatures on the planet. No wonder it is a big hit with wildlife documentary creators as well.
Hang In there
For not just photographers but all of us, life has truly changed. It would be awesome to just go out and travel, let alone take pictures, etc. However, if you hang in there for a few more months, and follow the necessary safety protocols, soon we’ll all be out there again taking wonderful shots and having a great time doing it.
